Dr. Lisa Esposito has been a cornerstone of Richmond Valley Veterinary Practice since 1992, bringing over three decades of dedicated veterinary expertise to our team. A graduate of the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Esposito has built her career on a foundation of excellence and compassion.
What draws Dr. Esposito to veterinary medicine is its unique blend of science and personal connection. “It is a multifaceted profession in that one can enjoy the intricacies of science and medicine while developing a deeper bond with our patients and their families,” she explains. “Every day presents unique experiences and challenges which I find gratifying.”
Dr. Esposito particularly values working at Richmond Valley Veterinary Practice for the practice’s longstanding reputation of high standards and excellence, while still allowing her to pursue her special interest in caring for brachycephalic dogs—those adorable flat-faced breeds that require specialized attention and expertise.
At home, Dr. Esposito shares her life with two French Bulldogs, Jack and Wawa, who undoubtedly benefit from her professional expertise and personal passion for their breed. In her free time, she enjoys cultural excursions to Manhattan, particularly visits to Lincoln Center for ballet performances and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as quality time spent with family.
Dr. Esposito’s commitment to the veterinary profession extends beyond clinical practice. She has been actively involved in organized veterinary medicine and has served on the executive board of the NYSAVE Animal Foundation APDA for an impressive 30 years, demonstrating her dedication to advancing animal welfare and veterinary education.
